8-Day Peru Adventure

Upon arrival to the Lima airport, our driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. Depending on the time, you can do a half day city tour by the seaside neighborhoods of Miraflores and Barranco.

Two adventures in 1 day. First stop: Monkey Island, an amazing place full of local plants and endangered species of monkeys that are being protected. Next: get a real feel of night life in the Amazon taking a boat river tour. For most travelers, this is their favorite part of the experience.

Early start with a boat ride for some good birdwatching. Next, you’ll get to soak into the local culture when meeting the Yaguas community and learning about their traditions. Be ready to show what you learn in a dance-off and a contest with the blow gun.

In the afternoon, you will be part of a small fishing expedition trying to catch some piranha only with a stick and a piece of meat. With some luck, we might see some pink dolphins.

In the evening, its time for a second night incursion this time by foot to get to see other animals like frogs, timid snakes and sloths or tarantulas surrounded by the sound of the jungle made by insects, birds and owls!

On the last day, we’ll visit Yanamono Island, where the majestic Victoria Regia, the queen of water lilies, can be seen and we visit a local sugar cane farm. Afterwards, you’ll have some time to relax at the lodge.

After lunch, we’ll head back to Iquitos where you spend one more night.

After leaving Iquitos in the morning, you’ll take a flight to Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire to do a half-day city tour to get a first impression of the city exploring its must-visit sites.

The Sacred Valley is famous for its amazing natural landscapes. In the Inca time, the Valley was the perfect resort due to its warmer weather.

Get to see the Salt Mines of Maras, the fortress of Ollantaytambo and the agricultural labs of Moray and try of a sip of Chicha (Inca beer made of corn) before jumping on the train to Machu Picchu at the end of the day.

By the time you arrive to Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you. After a 20-min briefing, everything will be buttoned up for the big day.

The day you’ve been waiting for… Our guide will meet you at your hotel to take the shuttle bus to the top of the mountain to begin your tour in Machu Picchu.

The visit to Machu Picchu is amazing but filled with details regarding logistics: the slot visit time, staying overnight in Aguas Calientes or Cusco, the type of train to get there, the second visit to Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu etc. But no worries, just send us a message and we’ll walk you through to make the arrangements that suit your plans best.

360 degrees nature. Early 3:30 am morning start but totally worth it, as it will allow you to enjoy the landscapes without the big crowds.
