There’s a thrill, an exhilarating rush, that comes when you’re on the brink of exploring a new country and its rich, diverse culture. This feeling—of stepping into the unknown and embracing the extraordinary—captivated us, Erik and Oliver, two adventure-hungry Germans. Our final semester exchange in 2015 brought us to the vibrant, mysterious land of Peru, and it was here that our passion for travel truly took flight.
Our journey through Peru was nothing short of transformative. We immersed ourselves in the Amazon jungle, trekked the ancient Inca Trails through the majestic Andean mountains, and relaxed on serene beaches with ice-cold beers in hand. We embraced the good and learned from the bad.

The bad: We encountered overcrowded sites, tours with too many participants, underpaid and thus unmotivated guides, poorly planned itineraries, and, most dishearteningly, the mistreatment of both personnel and locals. These negative experiences were eye-opening and fueled our desire to offer something better.
The good: Despite the challenges, we met incredible people, heard fascinating stories, discovered breathtaking places, and savored mouthwatering dishes. Each moment added to our treasure trove of unforgettable memories. We saw immense potential in creating unique and authentic experiences for others to fall in love with Peru just as we did.
From these experiences, Exploor Peru was born. Our team has since grown, filled with passionate individuals both in the office and out in the field. What we cherish most is our shared vision and dedication to making your dreams come true by crafting the Exploor experience through 100% customizable tours.
